Welcome to the 8th edition of the Luanda International Film Festival (FIC Luanda), taking place from October 28th to November 2nd, 2026, at Cines Alfa. Join us for 6 days of cinematic celebration featuring over 120 films from around 18 countries.
The festival aims to establish Angola as a hub for creation, dialogue, and cultural cooperation, strengthening its presence in the international African cinematic landscape. Our strategic vision for 2026-2030 is to position FIC Luanda as a top-tier festival in Sub-Saharan Africa and a reference in the Lusophone region, aiming for regional leadership and continental recognition, while transforming Luanda into one of the main African cinematic capitals.
